Teach internationally
The AMI diploma qualifies recipients for work abroad. As with any work outside the U.S., national and regional requirements may also need to be fulfilled.

Become an entrepreneur
If opening your own Montessori school is appealing, AMI teacher training is an excellent first step.

Become a trainer
Trained AMI teachers with classroom teaching experience may be interested in pursuing AMI's Training of Trainers Program. This program provides participants with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the ideas and principles of Dr. Maria Montessori and to train teachers.

Educateurs sans Frontieres
Educateurs sans Frontieres is an AMI program in which the participants (AMI diploma holders) have an opportunity to apply Montessori principles and practices in a wider social context, outside of the classroom setting.

The world has begun to realize the urgent need for effective approaches to educating its children. Public and private school systems across the country have embraced Montessori principles and have found new hope for their students. As this global discovery continues, the demand for Montessori educators will continue to increase.
