ADMISSIONS

The entry standards to the course are comparable with those of Universities and Colleges of Advanced Education. There are two recognised forms of admission to the course, Normal Admission and Special Admission.

Normal Admission

Candidates who have a Bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognised University or CAE and who meet specified entry criteria, may be granted Normal Admission.

Special Admission

A limited number of candidates may be granted special admission status, i.e. those who do not hold the academic qualifications described above but who can satisfy the Admissions Committee that they have a reasonable likelihood of success in the course and who meet other entry criteria.

Prerequisites

Applicants for the 6 - 12 course are required to have the AMI Early Childhood (3-6) Diploma. For those applicants who do not have the Diploma there is a 5 week Foundation Course (held just prior to the start of the 6-12 Course).
